46 ford

    Just brought this 46 ford truck home. It's a project that was sold because the seller had way to many of them (projects), sounds familiar...It's in the middle of a chop, I will post more pics soon and I will be asking for some tips to make sure this chop is done right. Later

    Thats not a 46 Cab looks like a 48-52?

    In the second picture you can see that there is a prob with the alignment of the cab roof. I am going to have to cut some metal off of the top , I think so, the higher part can be aligned. Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks

  6. wow, pretty rough, but should look good when finished. There are a couple theads about the '42-47 fords and some info about chopping them.

    This is rough, but this is what I have so far on the design of the 46 pickup project. I am modeling the cab and will add it in soon.

  9. Those cabs are pretty easy to come by. Might be worth grabbing another one for the roof skin and starting over or at least getting pieces out of it with the correct contour and stuff.
