Wow! Nice work on the trophies! There's gonna be some serious computision this year. Really looking forward to seeing some new or refreshed rides.

 

The Awards are very, very creative ....... and just cool

 

Hope everyone that needs a room has one, big weekend in Gainesville, Billetproof, first Gator game game of the year and arts and craft show in town, best weather in the country...

 

Pontiacs are now technically orphans too.

Show was great guys. Definatly worth the ride down from nc. Now its after party time!

 

The show was awesome. Rooman and I had great time.

 

Good times hanging with all my fellow Salvagerz who were there in force. great times good people.

 

I am eargerly awaiting for pics....... I wish I had been there again this year I am sure I missed out on a ton load of cool shit............

 

When you say billet proof what about rust proof lol......Some of the cars that are getting in to shows now days are just rusted junk Flame on lol.

 

Did you see the Hillbilly specials that did not get into the show? They ended up in the spectator parking lot.

 

Thank you so much for giving me the trophy, it is very, very special, it'll be a prized heirloom in my family forever.

You are welcome my friend I hope you post a pic with you, your car and the trophy together so I can save it.

 

You're right. I have no idea how these cars fit into a "traditional" hot rod or custom event.

 

There were a few, not the majority and to be fair an 'award' is given for the 'best' example, the 'car' that won's owner had no idea the piss was being taken out of him and his 'creation' I'll post a pic of their club shirt tomorrow, you'll enjoy it.

 

I saw a few really rough cars trying to get in... We turned them away because we knew there would be posts like 57Tony31 and Spiffy1937's

I heard they just set up a mini car show in the spectator lot... They made the best of the situation, and probably still had a great time. I thought that was pretty darn cool of them. wish I could have made it out there, I only saw them from about 80 feet away.
