Here's some of my pics from this year's Lone Star Round Up. Thank you to the Kontinentals and everyone else involved in putting on this fantastic event! Now if there were only a way to keep the late models and Harleys off South Congress Avenue Friday and Saturday nights!!

So Brewton, I'm assuming that's your coupe?? Please tell me you have a build thread or more pics uploaded somewhere! I took quite a few pics of your car as I found it particularly inspirational for me. And to think it belongs to another Louisiana boy! I'm a NOLA native myself.

Depends on who's asking!

My strategy to get my car in pics this year was to park right next to DW.

 

My 2 favorite coupes of the entire show, Why---because they are driven , they are fast and they are everything the Round-up is all about...

 

Too bad the guys that drive them are total NERDS!!! Not to mention get mistaken for each other all the time. haha

I think their passengers are pretty hot though!

Dennis - you are the coolest of the cool.

 

Amen to that! Hot rods should be fast! I still can't walk past EITHER car w/o snapping a few pics.

Qwebber, I forgot to tell you that the bartender in the Gallery gave me David's credit card and tab on Thursday, night by mistake. I should have paid it, because it was cheaper than mine for a change.

 

That black one races alot, don't know about the green one!

 

Some nice rides. Looks like the weather was perfect too. I'll be there one day.
