The gentleman who owned the car was fron Kentucky or Tenn., IIRC. Manny and I were following him, on the way back from one of the Leadsled Spectaculars in the mid or late 80's, and his car developed trouble. So we stopped with him on the side of the road. He wasn't a mechanic, and he just had some fuel issues, one or 2 of the Strombergs were spilling fuel over. We tapped on the carb tops to free the floats and he was on his way!
I might have a pic or 2 of the car, but no more info on it. Perhaps our older HAMB brothers down south?

Stance is everything. What a difference from the other photos in your album. As Mr. Musico said, perfect.

It sure is, it lived here in Florida once, we sure miss her, it was my friend Eric's car. It was chopped by Willie Wilde who worked for Barris, the metalwork is pure perfection.

I built this custom 55 Buick Super for my wife. It is clipped in the front with a 70's Nova and clipped in the rear with a 70's Buick. A 455 cu. Buick motor, ps, pw, at, ac, pb, disc. front brakes, drum rear, elec. wipers, hidden remote radio and all new wiring. Body mods include frenched headlights, antenna and 56 Chrysler tail lights, shaved door handles, hood and trunk. Bullets in the original hubcaps and center grill emblem. Painted PPG Black and Chrysler gold with white and black interior. Body off the frame plus 2 yrs to get-r-done. Pics made at the Roundup.

The RICKSTER`S right again. A guy here in town saw it forsale in the classifieds in the Leadsledder Gazette (Can`t find the issue) roughly 3 years ago. I told him I had a pic of it that I took in Hamilton Ohio at a show about 8 or 9 years ago. He decided not to buy it. Then it shows up shortly afterwards in the Goodguys Gazette (May 09). The caption reads---The memory pic went to James and Teresa Eckard`s taildraggin 48 Chevy from Glendale. George Barris assisted in the top chop in 85. The car sat in disrepair before the Eckards rescued it. O K. It looks like they added pinsripping , buick port holes and red centers on the hubcaps.

Hmmmm.. the 57 Caddy Hubcaps, ugly pin striping, portholes and fox tail are not really what I would call improvements over the very clean look Glen was able to get for his car.

Here is the add I found-- Late 07 or early 08 Trendsetter . It goes to EXCELLENT condition to a state of dis repair in one year. Maybe a year and a half. HHMMMMM.

Actually that's a 'coon tail but ya still ugly. Proof of taste should be required when purchasing such a beautiful custom.

Kustom Buick took these photo of this very nice 1936-37 Ford Roadster custom... And I really like it. Lots of very nice details. like the the V-Windshield and nicely flowing dark colored padded top. The molded, smoothed in and reshaped running boards. The angled back and partly covered grille...

Kustom Buick took the photos at Mild to Wild - Puyallup Show...

The interior is a bit modern for my taste.... but it is very well done.

Nice detail on the 1953 Cadillac hubcaps.

Reshaped trunk opening and flush fender skirts...
