That has to be in my top 5 of best HAMB builds ever. I love this car and can't wait to see it done. James
I love customs and can't wait to build my first one. Can someone help me identify this dark red custom. Excuse my newb question
That is Glen "The Cat" Patrick's 1946-48 Chevy Coupe with a chopped top and filled in rear side window. I think Glen used a 47 or 48 car, and added a 46 Chevy grille to that... but I could be wrong. I took that photo at a Tenn Custom Car show... many years ago. I think Glen sold the car not to long ago, and I think I have seen some photos of it at an west coast car show last season. Glen patterned the car after the Barris built High School Confidential movie Custom(s) they built. Another photo... And these are the Barris cars he used as inspiration.
Thanks for the info. I may be purchasing this 48 Pontiac Silver Streak and taking it in a similar direction
Speters, For a new guy, you got good taste! That is one of the best looing '46-'48 Chevs ever built! For some reason, I thought I had read that the car belong to Brian Setzer of the Stay Cats at one point...hence the license plate?
Hi Steve, No I don't know anything about that car... I only took two more photos of it back then. And I cant remember ever seeing it again after that.
