My Build Thread!

    Got that little strip tacked into place.. That was just enough to tweak it just about back to the right spot. Stayed out there till 8:30 gettin' it done. Picture:

    A lot of work done in the shop today. Got so tired of looking at that rust in the corner... So.. I fixed it!! Hah. Pictures:

    A lot of finishing up to do.. But, at least it's a solid piece now!!

    Nah, haven't missed it. I'm thinkin' a dark blue or dark green or somethin' like that with white accents

    Im not sure if your school offers auto shop, but I took four years of it in High school and you'll be amazed how this stuff will start clicking and come together, not just in your mind.

  11. I agree, the future of hot rodding is safe if we have more people like Hotrod95.
    Wish we had auto shop down here when i was a lad.
    Took engineering, but my teacher was an idiot, and i couldnt learn anything from him, except how teachers can be bullies too! His last name was saw. Id sure take a saw to his ass nowdays, if i saw him. HA HA. :D

    I'm going to enjoy watching this build, but it's going to make driving past this everyday even more tempting. :p

    Haven't done much to the truck lately, so tomorrow after drivers ed I am going to have an all day session of patching!! I want this thing done..
    But, for now. More inspiration. This truck is perfect. But, my special friend wants it painted purple like the second picture

    Your truck is lookin killer man!! Its kool to see another kid like me buildin his own stuff!! Wish there were more of us. hahaha

    I just turned 17 a couple months ago. I'm a junior this year. What year are you? Freshman or Sophomore? Anyways, gonna be a kool truck man! Keep us posted!

    And I do agree it is cool to see other kids doing the same stuff.

    I hate to say it but, I'm knee deep in a Off topic build. :D

    Still saving my money, gonna be pulling some strings in the next couple months should be back on the shoe soon.

    Man, your 'special friend may not be around for long, yer only 15!! The truck will be though. What happens when se's gone and your stuck with a shiny purple truck?? Your way or the highway!!

    I hope they both stick around for quite a while. As for the color, I was thinking Satin finish the whole way, purple wouldn't be too bad. Shiny, would be though

    Hey guys! I've been so freaking swamped with school work.. It's crazy! Haven't had a whole lot of time with the truck. But, I did get the new patch tacked in. My dad kind of took over that patch for me after I cut out the fender he cut a new peice to fit in and worked it 'till it fit. But, I got it almost all the way tacked in. Progress pictures tomorrow.
