This is the second annual Spring Drags held by the Buckeye Rod Builders.Held at Pacemakers Dragway Park,a great track that has gone unchanged since the sixties. This event is for those who just want to have a good time and run as many times as they wish. There will be no eliminations, just grudge racing all day. We will have flag starts for a portion of the day.
Feel free to come out Saturday evening and camp with us.Camping is free and is primitive.
The cost for the show is $10 per car (no matter how many people are in it).
If you want to run your car,you will need to purchase a tech card for an additional $10 . There will be NO TECH INSPECTION ,run what you brung.Racing fuel is available at the track.
Swap meet spaces are $10 and are unlimited size.

Pacemakers Dragway Park is on RT. 3/36 on the southwest edge of Mt.Vernon.
Hours are Sunday,May 22nd 8am-5pm,and you can come out anytime Saturday evening if you wish to camp.

bump for a great event. Those that want to relive "back in the day" this is the place to do it. Very cool laid back track with good staff. Really no reason that you shouldn't have your car out on the track for at least a couple passes. This event has a lot of great potential for growth.

My roadster is much slower than it was last year, so no one needs to worry about me beating them.:(

I'm interested in seeing if Dave from Delaware shows up with his stude sedan. Mike at M&M clued me into some of the engine work he was having done at the end of last year. My best guess is that he's going to be laying something heavy down.

Yep, if the drivetrain holds up to it, it will be an animal. As far as I know,he'll be there.
