Von Tingler, If you want to know what hapend to Vince's car you need to read C9's newest book called "Pinky". It is a great read.
BTTT for those that didn't get a chance to read it this past week. My fingers are crossed the next instalment is coming soon and guys if you like this, YOU LOVE "Pinky" Thanks for the AWESOME read Jay.
I inherited a pile of henry gregor felson books from my dad over almost two decades ago. I loved reading them, and I love reading this.. You are a true artist, C9. Thank you for giving us this story.
That's a really long thread............. To long for me to read, I guess i am going to wait for the movie......
Hey guys, Jay is no longer with us, RIP. Look at his title under his name. That is reserved for HAMBers that have made their final run. Cherish his prose.
Dang, my favorite story ever! So, no Part 2 was ever posted eh? Man! Loved the grandmas expression after riding in the roadster. haha

I read part 1 Monday. Part 2 last night, and I'm reading part 3 today. I'm so sorry to hear of jays passing. Ive been reading many of his threads since discovering "The Red Roadster". I noticed the title he had under his name, but had no idea what it meant. I'm sure Ill be bringing this story back to the top many more times in the future. People need to read this.
It's always a shock to see a C9 post pop up. But once I'm over the shock, these bring back great memories of a terrific guy. I miss him a lot on here.
Dennis, thanks so much for your help in getting this back on the HAMB what a great read, having been raised in the area of his story and about the same time it was a trip back in time, the lobster house in Santa Barbara, the drag strip in Santa Maria the Ventura coastal area, good memories. This should be required reading for anyone trying to become a HAMB member.THANKS AGAIN.....
Wow. R.I.P., sir. That is awesome. ^ Thanks for kicking this back to the top or I would never have found it.
