kyana swap meet whos goin? march 26-27

every year around this time in louisville ky fair expo center there is a kyana swap meet. this yr its the 26-27th. just wondering whos going. my father is setting up for the 1st time ever this year and he bought himself two spots. tons and tons of speed parts, impala parts, model a parts, 1927 roadster body all steel. to much to list. he has been loading up his 8-12 trailer all last week and still loading it right now. he is very excited. i will be up there to help him saturday and sunday. give each other a break to look around ect.

My boys and I are going saturday this will be our first time,does anyone know if chevy of the forties will have a booth set up,I need quite a few chrome parts for my 54 belair.

Chevy of the 40's won't be there, They are in Wash. state

There is plenty of large vendors there to cover almsot every chevy need , the rest of us still nit pick and scrounge : /

 

I used to go but hardly drug anything home with me so I quit going,I am about ready to give up on most swapmeets since I have better luck finding what I need at junkyards. If I have nothing to do saturday I might head out but its kind of not worth 6 hours on the road to possibly come home empty handed.

Saturday for me. I very seldom buy anything as I'm a Ford & Mopar guy But I just enjoy the day looking.

 

I don't know if I'll be heading south yet, just went back to work and saturday is up in the air about working.

going to have a 37 buick up there along with a 37 ford pickup cab with hood that has already been chopped 5 inches!

 

trying to go but I just recently had surgery on my foot. I was wondering if anyone knew of any scooter rentals that I could get for the day to ride around on.

I'll be there. just don't know what booth # yet. I have some 54 chevy car parts and other junk and good tools

 

we are bringing a 3wheel bike to sell. has a basket on it also to carry your parts.

im also bring up some 32 ford fenders. if there is any interests. they are steel and have some rust but they are 10x better than any damn fiberglass.

 

It gets to crowded to ride around on a scooter.....

 

No way. I have used one for years there as I can not walk very far without one myself. Granted it is sometimes crowded.

 

I'll be there like always.

 

The Rod Kings will be there buying up all the cool hot rod stuff. So you should get there early!

Can't wait to go tomorrow, it will be my first time. What form of payment do most vendors accept? I hate carrying around very much cash. If anybody selling has a 1965 M20 let me know, that's what I'm looking for.
