No new pics to update. Been working on the front brakes. Square back spindles are getting new king pins. Picked up my bearing and races for the 56 F100 hubs to adapt.

I'm still considering the 48 front bones I have if I can tuck them under where the red bar clamps are. Otherwise I think they look too long mounted on the outside.

  11. Looks good! Will that tail mounted shifter work in the sedan? You may have to put a S10 tail shaft on it to get the shifter out from under the seat - that's what we did on our roadster. We used a S10 T5 and it comes through the floor about where a stock shifter would have.

Actually the way it wooks with the body beside it, the shifter will come up right in the middle of the door. Right in the cross brace where the orginal seats bolted in. That should work. This trans was suppsoedly out of a Camaro.

This is just for you Chris. I trimmed out the subrails and bobbed the rear frame horns. The body sits down now. Later, Bill

Scott, Thanks for the ID on the trans. From what I read the T50 wont hold up to the torgue of a 425 nailhead. Could be the weak link that I change before I get to far.

Since I'll be reversing the firewall for motor clearance I had to remove the tank. I do believe I had a little mouse condo at one time. Crafty little guys. Later, Bill

Well no sir I have not been slacking. I've been looking for a T5. So Thursday I went to Pull a Part and removed this little gem out of a '93 S10. Looks to be a WC unit. Even though everything I read says WC units didn't come in S10s. $63.!!! Yes 63 dollars. :D Later,Bill
