Hey guys, I'm working on skirts this week, the collision work is slow so getting alot of hours in on truk. I will post some pics later. I am also doing a tech entry on building skirts from scratch. so i will do a post in that forum as well.

Great detail shot of the front of the bed, I love the look and how it brings the lines of the cab into the bed. Great looking truck!

You know I can't wait to see more on this truck. So will this thing be full on '60s show car style or something more mild? Killer stuff here.

X2 the new shape and skirts will really define the truck , lots of nice subtle body mods make a mild custom a full custom in disguise !

this truck has gotten outta hand already....... it was supposed to just be a low greyprimered shop truck....... then it was gonna be purple suede...... now, it's gonna be everything but chopped........the truck will be in austin with a lot of rust , bare metal and dents still in it......we were shooting for further along but the ideas wouldn't stop.....the grill is temporary, were gonna change that......but the bed should be just about where we want it to be mod wise for the roundup.....jeff had to hand make the skirts because the 56 stock skirts werent the right contour. it was easier to use them for shape only and start from scratch. anyone got any color suggestions?

THATS FUNNY!! because that is one of the ways i was wanting to paint my stude, I have kept that picture for several years, i love that paintjob. and did anyone notice the square exhaust tips on mcphails truk ? and the stude has square headlights.........just saying....

  25. LOL I have wanted to see a truck painted like this since the article came out. It would look cool on the stude but all those horizontal lines on Mcphails truck would be awesome with the blend.

Terd Ferguson just got done painting his Cad engine pink pearl and is now moving his way towards the body. It'll either turn out purple with a pink engine/interior like the Bill Breece coupe or all out pink like the Stanford drawing. Love the work so far on the McPhail truck!!!

Caddy-O, your truck was an inspiration........ I don't have anything square on this truck except the tag....... and It will never be painted pink...... or yellow........or green........I like the fades but will probably go with some kind of frosty purple and scallops......
