    hmmm I didn't know peewee had an asphalt superspeedway modified.......(that is the kind of car it is right?).........let alone Neil piloting it........

    Was Bruce Vanderlaan, Berlin regular and Toledo Iceman series racer during the wedge days for Oliver Trucking; the nephew of Ed???

    You know the results show richie evans in the#72...but i was in pits and saw neil in it....maybe setting it up????

    I need a little help...i,m posting some stuff that i,m making jpegs from slides.i have one way to make them bigger but it spoils clarity.how are some of you doing this to make pics bigger.i know you can clik on mine for bigger but just wondered how others are doing it.

    Hard to believe Richie would have been in that ride..........BR Dewitt his car owner and sponsor is well known for having that famous speedway mod in which Evans set a track record 15 mph fastest than the GN's or Cup cars of those days................Nascar was duly embarrassed that their top division was ecilsped by the lowley mods so they put them on the road course in future years.........I didn't know that Clearfield Speedway icon Clete Husted ran that event and I believe Bob Wearing did as well and had a bad crash there..........

    Bushy.. Those pics you took at Sharon from the stands, you had to be standing right in front of me!! We sat at the very top row in the corner each week.. After Hberg closed we went to Sharon every week (Sundays).. John

    Here is a newspaper clipping with my scrape book notes from a 72 feature race at Hberg run on Sunday afternoon before they switched over to night racing early in the season..........

    Great Photos.........love the sharon and Winchester shots......I missed all that stuff back then.......never saw pavement at Sharon but plenty of dirt races.......I finally got to Winchester for the 400 in 1990 and saw lots of racing then................I have the whole 1980 ASA DriPower 400 on DVD though......

    Two good ones at Hberg for the 1971 Pgher 250........Don Gregory and Marvin Smith.............this is when Marvin drove the Gregory Chevelle ride and Gregory drove the Monte Carlo that year......
