Here are a few pictures from last Saturday's weekly morning cruise at the Starbucks on 41st and Soquel, here in sunny Santa Cruz, CA. There's always a good amount of traditional cars there(and some cool odd-ball ones), the people are super-friendly, and if you're lucky...you'll get to meet Old Man Bob!

    Yes it is!
Most Saturday mornings. Come early guys start to show up about 0730 and most are gone by 1000.
It's just of Hwy 1 at 14st by the Starbucks.
A few samples from the last couple of weeks.

I was born in '50, spent '52-'56 in Boulder Creek. My cousin had a black '40 deluxe coupe with a 3 pot flathead, was a member of the "Rod Jockeys" Santa Cruz. Always a lot of '29 roadster pickups in the area. Glad to see it go on.

Never heard of this gathering. I will try and show up one of these days. I am just over the hill in Campbell.

Look for the Home Depot, Best Buy or Safeway.

That blue '32 5w with the black fenders and spoke wheels just does it for me. A lot of great cars where the cruising never ends.

Looks like a good time. This makes me miss Santa Cruz, grew up in Campbell/Los Gatos. Been wanting to go back, maybe this summer. Have fun!

Nice shots. Nice turnout with some killer rides. That was the furthest I have ventured away from home in the DeSoto. She never missed a beat:).

I will probably loose sleep over that red Plymouth roadster.

There were about 5 nearly full rows this weekend. Some around the corner by the Credit Union and part of the front row by Starbucks/Subway too.

Are you the green DeSoto with the lace flaked top?

I think I have some shots of the Plymouth, I'll take a look;)

Ha, ha, so we're not the only ones that meet at Starbucks. We have the same thing in the Torrance, Ca area. Tried to get the guys to meet at a breakfast joint up the street but they said no, it's traditional. There's also another one on Sundays in Marina Del Rey. They just started another, the first Saturday of the month, in Rolling Hills Estates, where the rich people live. They call us in Torrance, the "Flatlanders". (LOL)
