6.00 - 16 front and rear. Have been wanting to go with some big and littles, looks like 7.50-16 and 5.50-16, or 6.00-16 on front?

JeffreyJames, thank you for starting this thread. I think it finally made up my mind on what tires to go with for the front of my A V8. :)

Let's keep this going. I'd love to see more rods with slicks on the rear!

Swapped-on new 30x10x15 Radirs on original 1960s 15x8 Torq Thrusts last summer. Fronts are still 15x6 '60s TTs and 6.40 Silvertowns.

Thanks, and it's FUN to drive.

Here's a pic from the '60s someone posted on another thread but it shows a killer wheel/tire combo:

on my old sedan and sport coupe i had 6.10-16s in front and 7.50-16s in back, with 5.4in width wheels. i like taller skinny tires on open wheeled cars...

and on my my truck now i have 7.10-15s

Picture request - Mickey Thompson sportsman fronts. 28x7.5 or 28x8.5.
Only 2 cars in the thread with these fronts, and pics are really dark. I'm not likin em based on catalog picture. But I have wide sportsmans on the back already and need a bias ply front without a pie crust sidewall.
    Or a good pic of a pro-trac p215/75 please!

    On the '31, the plan is 215/55R18 + 275/60R15

On the Minor, undecided but, I fear, probably not very HAMBable sizes on 16" steelies ...

Car looks good. I like the tire combination. Can you show a view from the front? I have some 15x4 American Salt Flats and I don't like them on my car. Too much brake shows. How wide is your axle? What kind of brakes?
