I would like to know why this thread is currently rated at 4 stars? How does that happen?

    Another update.
I've painted the shoebox and now I'm in the process of doing upholstery.

By "doing" I mean doing it myself, not paying anybody for anything, just can't afford it, plus I enjoy trying new things.

Seat, door and kick panels done, back seats, windlace, headliner and carpet next.

My "el cheapo" Lacquer paint job.

Damn I wish I could do stuff like that, mine would be wonky, not fitting, over cost and generally look like an amateur.

    Amazing work Chris!

Damn, just met a guy up here who did his own upholstery and it looks cool too, man I might just have to try it. Excellent job, as has been said, with everything.

  30. Chris Casny, I hate you. Seriously, you don't know me, but let me tell you why I hate you. In my mind for years I had a vision of the perfect Model A. One that you rarely see. Nicely finished, not primered or rusted. Conservative in looks, but high in quality. The gentlemen's hot rod. Then you built your coupe and it was the same car in my vision. Even down to some of the details. I rarely see a car that I don't want to change at least one thing on. Your Model A was it. So I sold the car and started a '33 coupe project.

I've always been a custom guy. Before the Model A I wanted to build a '49 Ford. So here we go again!

Seriously, props to you man. You got great taste! :D

(Ok, there were other reasons for starting the '33 project as well, but that's besides the point ;) )
