  2. Here's one I've been working on, I've had this kit lying around for years and have always loved them turned into gassers so here it is, It's the AMT american Graffiti `56 T-bird with the Revell `41 Willys (Big John) suspension and a pieced together SOHC motor.

Here's a 55 gasser my 6 year old son and I just finished up. Not as good as what most of you post but not bad considering the skill of the builders!

Not sure if this was posted before but saw this on Gearz this morning. National Model Contest by Revelle. I'd enter but wouldn't have a chance with some of the stuff I've seen on here.

[IMG] Here is an A/FD I built in the early eighties. The chassis is home made using Plastistrut plastic coated wire. The body is made from aluminum sheet, and painted maroon. Hemi engine is from the parts box with the injection unit from AMT's 53 Ford pick up.

[IMG] The thirty year old Halibrand's look like they should be polished, but I think I will just let them oxidize.

[IMG] This is the last of my old models, that I have been posting over the past several weeks. It was intended to be a low dollar hot rod with a few custom touches. I hope I can finish up a few stalled model projects before the winter is over. Once the warm weather returns, there is not much time for models.

here is mine, not so much Hamb friendly but it has a split window, visor and a moon tank...made of 18 gage steel  and aluminum.

Made it back in 93 when I was in the 13th grade at my local college. :D

Jeepers, looks like the exhaust manifolds used to be pretty rusty. Great work as always, guys.

Well lots of kool stuff again this week. I have been trying to finish my Weesner build for next weekend but work has been stalling me on that project. But anyway here is some of my purchases from the Wheaton IL Toy Show I went to today. Lots of old builds waiting for another round. ;)

Hey Nitro I missed you at the swap today. You must have been holding out for KKIM next week. Musclecars I think you should bring that lil shop to the Cedarville Model Car Swap and Contest on March 13. It looks pretty kool. Here is a pic of the flyer/t-shirt for this year.

Yeah, I decided that with Kemps' coming up next weekend and your show in two weeks, I'd just save my money, hang around home, and work on my "Top Secret, Messing With Frank" project.... 'Course I spent the whole day mopin' around and wondering what kind of goodies I was missin' out on!!! LOL

Love the artwork for the Cedarville show... Be sure to hold a shirt (3X) for me! :D
