I got a helper today, and a dang fine one, it is so nice to have this kid out of the house and fired up. plus the skill he is learnin. here are some of todays changes, not all just some......stay tuned for more.....LOL
You have mad skills. Love looking at these kind of threads. I had a 58 Chev big window years ago. The previous owner sunk the headlights in a little bit to loose the nearly flush look they have stock. They looked pretty good, sorta matched the grill because it almost has a sunken look to it floating in that opening. Wish I still had pics I could post to show you. Keep up the good work, looking forward to seeing more progress pics.
I don't get it.... veneer dash ? what am i mising.....the shifter is temp. just something to shake down all the bugs. damn you guys like picking the flyshit outof the pepper, I love that fuking shifter and am going to have it gold plated to boot......just a shifter doesn't matter. it'll get you home......been many miles with that shit.... now , man did i tell you guys how proud of my youngest son I am, this kids learns quick , and good. he is going to make a good builder, fabricator, painter. gotta go ... lucas needs my help putting the square headlights in his vw.....LOL

I like that Impala......... and Jeff's dash isn't veneered. It's painted Black. It just looks veneered in the pic because it has about an inch of dust on the top of it...... Jeff never drives his old cars.......They sit in his garage while he tools around in his new Porsche....
That Stude is amazing and will be a huge hit at any show. I wouldn't have thought of the square lights and even if I did, the "formula" in my head wouldn't have allowed me to use them. But, it just flat-out works. I wish I owned it.
