Not surprising, I'm Doorslammer Challenged:) After building several rails I have a project car sitting in my driveway waiting for me to have room to start (long story). It's gonna be similar to the Old Reliable Vette but with a 280ZX shell. Long and low, tilt front. Biggest challange will be the rear wheel wells. KR

  4. Dominic great looking comet.

Dale;will Irwindale be open?Thursday is first day of Winternationals qualifying. Myron;thanks for posting the pictures, nice looking hood.I'm trying to decide what to do about a hood, when my new engine gets built it will be too tall for my twin scooped hood.My friend put a cowl hood on his car, looks OK,not my favorite though. ROY.

a few pics of armageddon its hand lettered but there are a few flaws. still needs wet sanded and prolly shoot another clear coat over everything. That will have to wait till after the autorama and a little warmer weather. this paint has been fighting me for 3 weeks now. finished her up sunday, started putting all the chrome on last night.

will post more pics when i get it outside in the light, hopefully someone can copy and re-post em larger for me.

ROY,too bad we're not a tad closer to each other.I'd clay model you a teardrop on your ram air to a desired height.I'm really surprised crites hasn't done that combination. It's a pretty simple shape.

Myron;I appreciate the thought!! I have plenty of fiberglass experience so I'm not concerned on that part.I'm just not sure the combo hood is what I want,I want to stay "period" but....... ROY.

No. But picked up a weird harmonic vibration I"m trying to chase down. Its funny how you take a step forward, then find another issue or two that puts you backwards. Working now on mounting an electric fan up front. I think the mechanical fan was not liking the idea of close to 8000 rpms on a regular basis....:) Fun stuff...

Hey guys...............do any of you happen to have a driver side window regulator from a hard top or convertible that you dont need? I cant find one anywhere. Porkshop offered me the one out of his car but it wont work.........the post sedan uses a different style than the hard top. There is also a repair kit available but it only works on the four doors & post sedans. I've also checked out a local Mustang restoration shop and they wont work. Its the only thing holding up the interior installation.
