Nice stuff Jigger - I like the before and after on the Buick equally. Your body mods are brilliant! I would love to have a car that actually looked like that.
Jeff - your posters are always world class - I am hoping to get to Billet Proof and I assume these will be on tshirts.
Bomonster - one of your best idea's ever - what a great story it tells and what encouragement it gives to all the stock straight sixes out there.
jdustu - I love your models! Thanks for posting your flickr link.
sinister - what a great and different look - very unique.
fortypickup - love the high contrast drama.
Mr Wim - pheneomenal display of your versatility

As every week, the artshow is again top notch!
Too many nice things to make compliments about...

    However...
    @ Bomonster.
I enjoy your humor and ideas every week. The scratchboardstyle fits the insane monster category better than anything else.

    @ Dutch Courage.
Ger! Je hebt jezelf wederom overtroffen met deze voor Pixeleye. Behoort tot mn favorieten. (transl: 'Dutch, you did okay' ;-)

    @ Ruben.
    Leuk oogappeltje! ;-)
    Nice idea. Came out great.

    @ Jerry Reed.

What's the story behind this helmet...? Any other Dutch members noticed the Dutch soccer organization logo on that helmet?

    The paintjobs look very nice!

But really... All of you did a great job this week!

Great shots Richard - I especially like the patina you captured on this one.

  5. I recognized the logo, even though I'm not dutch!
    Very nice helmet.

Great show guys! I'm not going to single out anyone, you all contribute incredible works! My favorite part is seeing all the different mediums that everyone works with. Keep up the good work!

Thanks Jigger & Mr. G for the kudos, someday I might be able to call myself an artist :)

Many thanks guys for the kind comments, much appreciated. It's 9:00 AM of Friday here and we already have five pages of great artwork. Too much for me to individually comment on, so let me thank all of you, especially those who contribute fine work each and every week. Each week it seems the quality gets better and better. You need to be thanked and congratulated.

Been waaay too long since I've posted. Quiksilver has be beating the full time drum so I haven't been doing much stuff relevant to the boards. I still come on here every Friday though. I sure picked a great week to post. The work this week is INSANE!!! I've been having to hold off on posting this for a couple months but here it is. Available from FUCT in a couple weeks.

Nothing new from me. Again... :-/

But I wanted to share some of my old stuff. I've probably posted some of these photo's before, but last week to my surprise I found some other photo's of my old work on the internet.

in the early to mid 90's I did several paintjobs for my friend Perry:

This model A was the very first car I did. My tools were: maskingtape, scalpel, and several spraycans...

LTD-van. The flames I did again with spraycans. The murals were airbrushed. Lettering was done with automotive paint and regular brushes from the household paintsupply-store. Remember, this was all done in a time when internet as none existing so real lettering enamels and pinstripebrushes just weren't available in Holland.

This Ford Popular is the former legendary British built streetlegal dragcar Mr. Mad. Done with a spraygun in a professional spraybooth. The outline pinstriping was done again with a regular paintbrush...

The six-wheeled Mini Cooper was done again with spraycans.

The flamejob on the Ford Pop came out great, so Perry was wondering how it would look on his freshly finished Willys. I made him a rendering and this time Perry took the design to a professional painter who made some adjustments and transferred it to the real thing:

Awesome! But to be honest, I liked the Willys better without the flames, so I said to Perry with my tongue in my cheek:
    'A Willys doesn't need flames.'

But I never knew how right I was with those words...

Chills went up and down my spine when my friend Ger told me about the wherabouts of the Willys...

Like I said: A Willys doesn't need flames. Period.

photos by me, and snatched off of several internetsites:

figured I would post this here too..need the below in the SF/Bay Area...

Nothing over exciting, need to remove some tacky lines and lay down some more gold fine line and a pair of monograms...anyone interested? recomendations?

knowledge of traditional lettering a plus.

    Thanks.

    Dude!

The list of what you do well is longer than the list of cool stuff in this weeks show.

    Just thought you should know.

    Big fan.

Haven 't been well lately, going on about 4 months now, but this Friday Art Show and last Friday's and the Friday before that have been awe-inspiring - Anyway, here are a couple of photos of a nylon windbreaker that I sewed a Cadillac badge on, using my mom's sewing machine set on zig-zag stitch with the crawl slowed way down - in 1984 already - Yea, it's not so great, but it was a machine and I wanted to run it - The other photo is my significant other, sometime in 1989, by the pool, I think - I still have the jacket - I still have my wife, though she won't pose this way again - something about having children ... blah-blah-blah - Enjoy the weekend everybody!
