Hey guys, I am looking to contract a photographer in Austin to shoot my brother and I at the Round Up. He will be here with his 48 Fleetline, I will have my 53, and want to sent up some more stuff at home with our projects (a 36, 57 and 41)

Anyhow, I know there are several on here and all over Austin. So if you are a photographer or know of one that can do a photoshoot at the round up send me your info, website and samples.

    Thanks
    Rey

John Jackson at Not Stock Photography.

Rough Stock here on the HAMB takes a nice pic.

    Just a couple.

Travis Scanlan (aka travisfromkansas on the HAMB) is one of the best and he will
be in Austin that weekend. Check out his site.

    Keep em coming.

John from Not Stock would be awesome, don't get me wrong, that guy is top notch, but I am willing to bet he will be stretched out thin at the round up with work.

I am looking for someone locally, I want to do some actions shots while we hammer on our junk, so someone I can call and set something up locally would be best.

Simple question: Have you asked Jon before assuming that?

Honestly, ask him. You won't regret it.

You are right, I should not assume. I will contact him, but still send me your suggestions for someone locally.

I would ask John first. He's really good at what he does, a really nice guy, and will tell you if he can do it or not. If he is unable to do it only then, would I look for someone else.

Rusty Chrome is a HAMBER, photographer, lives in Austin and owns and drives old cars. You should shoot him a PM Im sure he'll be at the Roundup.

Rusty is AWESOME, too! He'd definately be in my top picks, as well!

Wasn't trying to be rude with you about Jon, but I know, personally and professionally, that a lot of people make assumptions about "how much work people" have (when in fact, they're not doing anything, because everyone "assumes" that they're too busy  ).

Rusty and Jon are both top notch -- both in terms of their talents, and their reputations and integrity!

No problem, I just remembered last year or the year before, John had a booth at the show and looked like he was being pulled in all directions. Again I assumed he was having a booth this yea , Anyhow, I contacted him and he said he was not setting up a booth, so we are working on putting something together. :D

And yeah, I have met Rusty Chrome a few times, didn't know he was photographer, a so I'll get with him to work on something later down the road.

If only you could train Kustom to watch the booth.

On the other hand, I'd probably get 10 pieces for the low price of 10 dog treats.

It sounds great that you and your better half will be able to enjoy the show together. That's awesome.

Thanks everyone for the kind words, and for a cheeseburger Kustom will give you everything we have and help you carry it to the car.
