I'd be curious to find this out as well. Last time I saw it was about 13 or 14 months ago in Murray garage where him and Steve were going gainbusters on it trying to complete it for Autorama last year.

Perhaps if you were clearer regarding your roll in Murray's project there wouldn't be any questions regarding who owns it. ;)

So Mike fill us in on exactly what you have been doing with the project over the "better part of the past year and a half."

Didn't we see the car in "R&C" unfinished a year or so ago? I'm looking forward to seeing it in the flesh!

Hot Rod actually... and this has been very much a group project. didn't mean to imply otherwise. it's taken alot of hard work and alot of time from alot of people (many of which i mentioned previously).

    ...and that ain't no SBC!

    Kustombuilder,
Thanks for the top secret tour and insider info on this car.
I've got a feeling when it's made public, it's gonna set the entire car hobby world on it's ear!!! :D

Ah! So I finally see some spy shots. I've been wondering about this build ever since seeing this in HRM.

I'm thankful this project wasn't halted or anything. Anxious to see this finished..

Edit: BTW, sorry about the crappy cell phone picture; I don't have a working scanner.

Cool-reminds me of the Olds 2 seat "Corvette" concept car from the 50s.

  15. Its different to see it with the wheels on - looks like about a 60" wheelbase!

  16. A great effort by all the guys involved, I can't wait to see it done.

I love it, kind of a what if Chrysler made a Thunderbird/Corvette variant!

IMHO I think it would have better proportions if the front fenders were about 5 to 7 inches longer in the dog legs, it looks a little stubby in the artists conception, not in a bad way mind you, this thing is gorgeous! :D

You're an animal! I'll never have the skills (or the balls) to take on something of that caliber! Go man go!

    Looking great Mike!

So, to clarify, its not "yours", but you're involved with the build?

I swear. Wheel designs are getting even more ridiculous everyday.. :D

Haha. Looks good! Thanks for sharing. This proves not everything has been done and there are still new ideas out there.

Can't wait to see the finished product!

  26. As a guy who grew up with a dad who loved (and still has several) '59-63 Imperials, I got to say you all did an incredible job scaling the massive car down into something that is, dare I say, sporty.

Can't wait until I see the inevtiable R&C spread.

Not to be a Johnny-know-it-all, but the Chrysler Falcon concept was supposed to have been a Corvette/Thunderbird fighter:

That said, I'm looking forward to seeing the completed project!
