  8. Another GREAT Friday Art Show! Surely, a ton of talented folks here.

In honor of the "Pinstripe Legends" charity art auction going on this weekend in Milwaukee, Wi. to benefit Wisconsin Childrens Hospital at the Milwaukee WoW, I thought I would post some pics of some of the art created there over the last few years. This event is populated by some of the best pinstripers, sign painters, and kustom kulture artists in the country.

    Enjoy!

Joel, looking forward to seeing all those panels at the Chicago World Of Wheels/Brushmasters auction. BTW I hear that the finished tin really pops!

he's just busy as hell with work and famiglia .

I waited over a year for this. Well worth it, IMHO.

Thanks FB. Its a trip shooting film again after alot of years. After each shot I look at the back of the camera. HAHA what an asshole HAHA. Then 2 weeks waiting for the slides to return from processing, then scan them. HAHA. Oh yeah, no photoshop. Later, Slim

Next week is the Detroit Autorama (Feb 25-27th). We have 18 artist's in the "Artist's Alley" down in the basement. Last year we all fell in love with the "Little Honker". An awesome 60's style Bantom dragster built by Tyler Hilton and his Dad. We thought it would be cool to each do a peice of art depicting that cool car. We're donating our versons to the Motor City Auto Art Mavens auction for Leader Dogs for the Blind. Make sure you stop by and check the great panels, pinstriped stuff and our "Little Honker" artwork. It goes for a good cause. (Bring lots of cash!!!)
Here's a photo of the car... And a few of the pieces.

The Little Honker art extravaganza is one BAD ASS idea. And to have the worlds best artists each doing their version of it is awe inspiring. Tyler and Bob are two of the nicest guys I have met in along time. So cool. Good luck on the auction. This is a shot I took at the Jalopy Drag Showdown in 2010. Slim

Here is latest sculpture of mine ,I had asked HAMB artist ToddJ if I could use and loosely base my sculpt of his BAD RAT design.I loved the cap and cigar he just draws a really cool rat.So with his approval I came up with this sculpt using a real rat trap just weathered and beat up with airbrush and oils.I know it's not exactly like his drawing but the concept is there. We both thought the mickey mouse suspenders and buttons were a nice touch, as well the comedy of the set rat trap and cheese in hand.So here he is the meanest but coolest rat in town THE BAD RAT
