  7. Everything has been chopped so much anymore that a chopped car looks normal to a lot of us. A phone booth on the other hand is unique and the T coupe is one of the few that really lends itself well to that style of build.

If I had a '27 I might like to build myself one of those wierd looking all tilted and off kelter cars. I don't remember the nmame if it but there was one way back when that was a pretty famouse show car, I think one of the fellas has a pic like it in his avitar.

I'm afraid I'm going to have to go with the chop...even though you're trying to go with the 60's feel..I just never liked Tall Tee's...d32

Get it running and driving first chop it later. Ts are an exercise in putting ten pounds of crap in a five pound sack. Steering, master cyl, shifter, clutch pedals and linkage. Make it all work before you cut 5" out of the roof and realize you have to open the door to roll the window down.

Don't chop the Coupe, The cool factor on the T's is how tall the top is. IMO.

  20. Well I'm building the whole thing out of collected junk I have. I'm gonna mock it up before I do anything. But the plan is to at least get it up on wheels by spring.

  21. That sounds like a plan. But ya better hurry we are having early spring here right now. :D

  22. Chop the hell out of it! 9 or 10 inches. Check out that Aaron dudes from the Chopper's of Burbank. The yellow "bad news" one. His is pretty 60's and looks badass!

  25. Spring in northern Alberta... I got time. It's actually pretty close to being a roller. Just a bit more welding, and gotta find me one of those drop axles for cheap.
