Customs 1949 ford

what would be the perfect chop for this car or need some pics
how much in the front and how much in the back never did this before.
thanks for any help

 

I plan on doing mine 4" in the front and 6" in the back.

 

Thats a personal opinion. Im a fan of very minimal chops on shoeboxes, 3-4 inches max.

 

I just went 4 front 5 back and couldn't be happier

AMEN! "Fast backing" does nothing for those cars. IMO.

 

Myself and my old man working on it one day a week, took a little over a month.

 

That looks perfect to me.

i took 5 1/2 in the front, and just laid it down in the back till it looked right!

 

Sweet! My first ride was a 49, one of these days I'll have another!
