..... and here is the frame. This is my 32 frame I purchased from Porkchop at (free plug) http://sinisterhotrods.com/ :D Finally decided I better get some type of coating on it since I've owned it for 7 months. With help from fordhaulers (Mike) I painted it today. I've never painted anything before today and I must say, I did a dam fine job. It'll be a slow build but more pics will follow. Later,Bill

    That's a great start!
Congrats of your first paint project. Hard to tell from the pictures so if you are happy.. that's all that counts.
Oh yeah. Did you wear a mask when you painted or are you one of those tough, indestructible guys?
    I used to be.

I love the nice clean empty workspace, too - really helps focus the mind.

This was just a base coating to keep it from rusting. Not a top/ finish coat. Plenty of work to do yet.:D

    Looks good Bill!
Nice bright work bay with lights built in down low!
That bay will be good enough to break your cherry on the body paint too!
    Nice looking frame.

And here I thought this was gonna be a thread about some completely trashed body missing half of everything getting saved...you're starting with a damned near complete car...I'm just a little jealous...

Benny, Yeah the body is pretty decent actually. I'm sure I'll still be callin ya to ask questions. Took me 7 months just to get something on the bare steel, so it'll be a while.

    Very nice.

Depending on much work you do on your "rotisserie" and how much weight you will be adding to the frame as you go, you may want to turn your rear-frame engine stand around (and run the rotation sleeve out the other side as it would be used with an engine block).

Bill, looks great. Although I have a strange feeling your not going to run a y-block, in the event you do, just holler:D -Andrew (picking up a 57 parts truck tomorrow, let me know if you need anything)

Now mind you 3 years have past since I painted the frame. So I'm finally getting off my ass and working on it. I got some major help from a friend setting up the chassis, since I had never done it before. I decided there was no substitute for cubic inches and Nailheads are just neat to look at. So here is the 425. Adpater from Eelco and a Camaro T5. Running a 370 gear 9in.

    *drool* 425 Nailhead..

They're still around? What's the plan for intake and carbs? Well, looks like you've got all of the major components to keep busy for quite a while. Don't wait too long to do the next update!

I'm following this one for sure.
