Well Not only did I get a fancy old school custom roadster today, but I also went back tot he toy store and picked up this fancy assed Elco twin and all the needed parts to make it rock.
Dunno If I had the buck Kevin i would try and buy his Riley 32 roadster, but I think I am too cheap for that Or maybe one of the Scarabs. Though I did bag this nice roadster this week http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=558953
No I am Passing on the NOS Kinmonts.. though he doe shave them. but the last ones he sold were for 14K and I just cant bring myself to part with that kinda money for brakes..
Great pieces. Did you buy them from Don Orosco? I know that Don reproduces twin plug flathead heads, aluminum and magnesium oil pans and Eddy Meyer intakes and heads........Whatever, great score!
whats up with the carbs? it looks like they are missing the "bases"? or is this some kind of fuel injection?
bitchin' set-up! the only other set i've seen are bruce's (the picV8RPU posted). it's the dizzy that seems to be impossible to find these days! i didn't know Orosco was re-popping the twin plug heads. is he doing the drive too?
Yes doc z. But the hard part to find now is the Nash distributor and cap. A cap just sold on bay for 250
man, i think its only fair to say that i hate you...ive been searching for rare flathead stuff, looking up info in the HAMB here and every time i find something cool and click on it, there you are...with some rare-ass crazy cool flathead stuff
Bruce, I still say you need to put a certain semi stock 3window body on that before that body goes the way of "street rod"
