Great thread. I picked up a '65 this weekend. I've always wanted one of these cars. I can't wait to get started on it.

[IMG]Here's mine: ^ 65, big block. Supposedly raced back in the 70's and 80's. I'd love to know more of its history.

Thinking about this one. I don't need another project, but it is literally right down the street from me. It is the typical 'husband died a couple years back, but she wants to get it running again soon' story. That was 1997. It was totally clean back then, now it needs a fair amount of help. Trying to come up with an offer. All of the trim pieces are there or in boxes, mostly needing some clean up. The body mounts near the rear wheelhouses are trashed, rockers are solid, lower fenders are starting to blow out. It is a 31867B VIN, indicating it should be a v8 car, which is obviously not the case here.

  20. Thanks
It looks good in the photos, but the rear wheelwells are starting to go and the bottom of the rockers are pretty much gone along with some underfloor braces. It's also going to get some suspension upgrades and a new interior.

i dont have any pics, i wish i did ! he told me it was a 327ci with a tunnel ram. 13.5 compression , .557 lift solid lifter cam , 202 double hump heads opened up as big as possible. m/t alum valve covers. i picked up a vintage edelbrock tunnel ram. when i put my motor on the dyno im going to try it and see what it will do.
