I don't think that if they were trying to keep it secret they would post it here. Looks to me like they're telling the whole world.

No secrets here..! No hiding behind made up letters or B.S. challenges either!
There should be no excuses about paying $60.00 entry fees and nothing to run for! This is going to be the largest AA/GS event since the 1967 US Nationals.... The winner of this race will RIGHTFULLY be able to call himself the KING of AA/GS..!

Thanks Eddie for posting the rules and payouts AGAIN..! lol
Hopefully you won't try and tap dance around this race TOO..!
All you have to do to be called the "KING" is show up at the event and WIN..!
Hopefully as a crew chief you'll take this REAL CHALLENGE ...!

I'll go real slow for you......
Here are the rules and payouts...http://www.rockypirrone.com/index.php?topic=89.0
I have eight cars pre entered who have no problem with these rules.....
As far as performance....THIS RACE is 1/4 mile racing FIRST to the finish line! You can GO AS FAST AS YOU WANT...!

  12. Been on my calendar for a month, skipping the MANDRA points race for this. Does the Red Baron have an ego problem? It is an awesome car but so are the others. Always like to see you guys run, Beaver Bob and the gassers are a good combo.

Who said Rocky's trying to keep it a secret??..WTF?..I don't know Ken but I would think when he does find out,he'll want to attend if the rules will allow..

  16. My opinion is if you have a "period correct" AA/GS gasser and don't show up at this event to race then you just have an exibition car....

I'd LOVE to see as many true NOSTALGIA AA/GS cars attend this event as possible... Even true "Exhibition" cars are welcomed! I'll have a CASH award and trophy for the "Most PERIOD correct AA/GS" car too..! As far as the racing..the "Gasser Wars" of the 1960's were there to sell products and promote racing.

My GOAL is to help bring that "Excitement" back to racing again! This event is a GREAT opportunity for all the "Challenges" to be settled on the track, not the internet... Hopefully any and all "jawing" that goes on is in fun, and not taken too seriously! Mark your calender for June 10th to the 12th..Beaver Bob has the clocks turned back to 1967...come out and ENJOY..!

The car is awesome.....The rules were using are std 6-71's and no wings, more pre 1968.... you would be a little too HOT for this class..! Are you going to Bowling Green this year? We'll be there with a couple of cars...

    Hi Rocky,

Jack Warren is bringing his 'barn find' 41 Coupe from California to the 10th GASSER Reunion at Beaver Springs. They're doing whatever it takes to get it ready to race down the track. It's in the current issue of Hot Rod Deluxe and on the cover of this issue of GASSER Magazine. Which is being mailed out today!

Rhonda, Jr. Thompson's daughter, should have all the Reunion & Nationals info up on the website later today.

Thanks for all your help! I'll see you there!

I registered for the site, but until it goes through, I can't see the rules, etc.

Are you guys planning to run an unblown class?
