Heck, I searched all over looking for the contenders and couldn't find any.....I saw some background shots of the cars in the area on the HAMB.....Didn't R&C do "live" coverage and Street rodder & Hotrod post "live" coverage last year? I don't think that "Janet" likes the new iPhone app that Ryan released.......I will be watching the HAMB to see who won also.

Awards start at 5 and the AMBR award is at around 7.

Did the minature car in the background come with the king sized trophy?

I think it's a step in the right direction. After the last few years I had all about given up on ever seeing a tasteful ride win the big one. Nothing over the top on this one but clean and simple.

Yeah that trophy is totally obscene! Imagine trying to get that sucka home!?! LOL

Also be good to see what's hidden under that simple looking exterior on the winning roadster to know why they voted it AMBR.

Cool wheels on an otherwise boring street rod.

  21. It's a lot more beautiful than some of the other contenders, but of course, that's just my subjective view. :)

Personally, I love it and it's nice to see something a bit more subtle and that actually looks like the car it's meant to represent, i.e. a '34 Ford.

Do you get to keep that trophy or does it come back every year to be given away again. You'd need a truck just to take it home.

A lot better than the last couple of winning cars. Now, Detroit.

squeeges build some really nice high quality cars Doug is a hell of a nice guy
    good for them !!

  26. JEEZ, you guys bitch about free pussy:p! That car that won is sure a LOT tastier than the overdone, big wheeled, bling-bling nasty shit that's been winning. It's definately a step in the right direction for the judges from the crimes of prior years they've committed.

Interesting. It must have some dynamic detailing. To my unkind eye it looks like the 30 other plastic ones in the parking lot. It's just not my style. I wouldn't walk across the street to check it out. Different strokes!!

To be honest i probably would not like anything that was up for this award in today's atmosphere.
