Howdey my name is Kory and I have a small custom shop in Lockhart Texas about 30 minutes east of Austin. Like I said it's a small shop and I do most of my work part time. I just started a build on a 53 chevy and would like to post some pictures here. I know some of you are tierd of seeing 49-54 chops on here but I hope I can do you justice.

The first thing we did was fill all the holes in the belt line and start building guills on the hood.

I've seen this car around. I believe the last time was at the Bastrop meet. Very cool car! I'll be watching the build.

The chop looks mean. And it does make it look longer.

Did you mean "gills" like fish gills? Looks more like scoops to me, just nitpicking. Looks like good metalwork.
