Ya he had it for sale for a while in december then decided to keep it, then put it back for sale last week cuz he had his eye on something else

 

Thieves are really active in Southern Cali lately. They tried to steal my 60 El Camino last week. Luckily I was up at 3am and heard the tow truck.

Damn no way thats crazy! Ive noticed alot of the cars being stolen are Chevys or early Fords....Its ridiculous one of my friends just called me saying his best friends 54 Chevy pickup got stolen last night too!

Did anyone come look at it? Or say they wanted it then changed their mind?
Just wondering if this lowlife found it through craigslist?

This sucks even more...it tends to make the insurance guys suspicious. They don't like to payout on classics and seeing that it's been for sale gives them something to hassle you about.

I just got good news everyone! The Cops found my brothers car! It was at A Motel 6 in Pomona! Hes getting all the info right now i'll let you all know whats going on...I really appreciate everyones support...like i said ill keep u all updated as soon as i hear whats goin on

Man, they really seem to be hitting SoCal particularly hard. Might not actually be that way, but just seems like it. If I lived down there, I'd start being super extra careful.
