GNRS HAMB Meet & Greet On Saturday Jan 29th

Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm pretty late in posting info regarding this years GNRS's HAMB meet & greet, not to be confused with the legends Meet and Greet that is taking place on that Saturday afternoon as well.

Lets do the HAMB Meet & Greet at noon on Saturday in front of the suede palace, the same area we're been having it for the last few years. This will give folks plenty of time to visit and mingle before the Legends meet & Greet at 3pm in Building 9 which is located right across the way if I remember correctly.

Just from the other threads I have a feeling this HAMB gathering is going to be HUGE cuz there are so many HAMBers attending this historic year. I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone there especially the folks that I've never met before. I'll have name tags and sharpies which makes it so much easier to identify each other during the meet & greet. We'll also do a Hokey Ass Group Shot at approx 12:15pm.

On another thread one of the guys talked about BBQ so I thought I'd reiterate the information.

We probably won't be all able to sit together but it sure would be cool to see a bunch of HAMB friendly faces there.

Also, for those that have never been before the bar in the Sheraton is a pretty cool place to hang out in the evenings. Very casual, no live entertainment or anything like that....well unless you count Scott from Hot Rods and hobbies as entertainment, but alot of the vendors and car builders are there which makes it so much easier to have a conversation with them as opposed to at the show when they are being pulled in all different directions. The stool between Steve Tracy and Steve Lord has my name on it though so don't even think about sitting in that seat!

ALSO, if anyone from another country wants to do a license plate swap just let me know BEFORE I pack and leave. I've got alot of Michigan bicentennial red, white and blue plates or some of other years I'd be willing to part with in exchange for one from a country I don't have.

we're flying in to LA-x,arriving at 10:00 saturday morning, renting a car and heading to the show, don't know if that can be done in 2 hours to make it to the meet and greet, but will sure try.

 

Fingers crossed you make it but if not we'll catch up in Building 9 around 3pm

The meet and greet is directly in front of our Vending spot so of course we will be there! We are located right outside the front door of the Suede Pavillion. I'm looking forward to seeing you guys.
