I was wondering if there is any Hunters Car Club Members on the forum or sons of ex members?
If so I was wondering if you can provide any pics of the club's dragster? Did the club have car coats? I have a pic of my father wearing a white short sleeve shirt with "Hunters" (March 1967) on the back and his name chain stitched on the front. I will try to scan and put it up in the next few days.
I am just curious if there is any more information out there other than what has already been posted here and there on the forum.
    Thanks
    George

I tried to send you a message but I have no clue if it worked. I was a member of the Hunters Santa Ana back in the 60's. Vice President in 66 if I remember the year right. What's your dad's name ? Some great memories thanks for bringing them back. I still have my white shirt that is not even close to fitting. yes we had black jackets and white shirts.
no pictures of the dragster (magwinder) or the club coupe (7-11) but I will check with a few I still know how to get in touch with.

  4. Hi George! My father was an advisor for the club through the Santa Ana Elks. His name is Jim Hoover. I have one of the Hunters plaques and a jacket as well. The jacket was black with a patch that matched the plaque on the back. I've been looking for pictures of the dragster for quite a while now. I believe it was the "7-11" car? I'll need to dig alittel more to see what I can come up with. Please post any pictures you can come up with...I'd love to see everything!
