Hambers, My new shop is across the street from the Indy 500 race track. Park at my place and walk in the track!!! Parking is $25 bucks and i might even throw in a cold high life or two. You need to enter Speedway from interstate 465 at 10th street exit, drive down 10th to Lyndhurst and turn left on lyndhurst. Go up lyndhurst to 14th street and turn right , 14th will end on main and you need to turn in the alley ( to the right) before main street. You might call tomorrow and reserve a space...1-888-809-3835 talk to run around sue ( another hamber) Our address is 1330 Main street , race day you will need to enter using directions above........ Bubba
Would love to be able to hang out with you and your whole posse this weekend but megan and I are in california for the santa maria show. Will see you in a couple of weeks for the goodguys event. Xoxo
Sounds like you have the perfect place for "Hot rods only parking". Can I reserve a spot for next year? Gary
Sure just get with me early May next year , would love to have ya......Might even have a vintage camper for you to stay in....
Thanx! Unless the 27 blows up or something, I'll be there. I was born in Methodist Hosp, my family lived on the east side and my sister and brother n law live in Brownsburg. Though I've seen or heard the race every years since I had ears, I've never been to the race. I think my SS check will be coming in about then, too! Beer! Gary
I used to go every year till about 4 years ago. Always found a yard to camp in and always had a blast for the 2 days I was there. Looks like I'm gonna miss it again this year....unless I say f' work and quit.
Honestly, it never would have crossed my mind to charge to have the people of the HAMB (Ie other Hot Rodders) park on my property even if I lived on the track itself! Any other joe-blo from off the street? Yeah, but just not other hot rodders. Doc.
Bubba, I don't mind... besides the only billet I have just HAS to be there (brackets, etc.) and most of it is painted. The only real problem is location, as my seats are in at the end of the main straight at turn 1. If your shop is in turn 3 I might have to rent a pack mule to make the race. Gary
All , just call the shop 1-888-809-3835 talk to Jim or Andy. Andy handles the reservations , tell him you are a hamb-er ......
Nice offer Bubba...any chance you might be doing the same deal on Pole Day? I doubt if I can make the race, but I usually make it down for Pole Day or Bump Day or both...Thanks again-Mark
