Nice doors Chuck are those going on your truck?

 

Bought this old truck a couple of years ago, and upon inspection relized it has something under the old paint. A few minutes with a scotchbrite and this old sign appeared. Found out that the 4 digit phone number went away in 1955.

The red one hung on my Dads truck and was painted in 1950
and the blue one on Dads tow truck and was painted in 1955
They now hang in my office and garage.

 

Nice work as this may be, but this is NOT hand laid leaf...this is a sheet of laminated gold in vinyl.

i dig this thread , and please no vinyl !! hand lettering new & old thats what we want ,not the computer sign guy !!

 

Here's a wallhanger that I did last week for Bob at Wheelsmith. Not quite a "door" but kind of different.

This is a car I originally did 18 years ago and updated this last summer for my daughter. Before it was all black, now it has red accents here and there.
