  6. Yup Brerhair, You called that one . If we had that kind of virgin tin up here we wouldnt know what to do with all our time as we wouldnt have to spend countless hours rebuilding rusty pieces of shit . LOL! We likely would go into shock !!!<!-- / message --><!-- sig -->

Cool as can be.I am in the same boat as you with being older and having young kids.Im 40 and my son is 4.Sometimes I wish we would have had kids younger, but I dont think I would have been a paitient and thoughtful with him as I am now.I truly know what you mean by "These are the good old days".Keep up the great work.

I need the panels between the rear quater window and back window for my car.It is the body line that holds the belt line moulding.Any chance there is another car in that junk yard that I could cut a piece off of?

Place isn't that big, but you might get lucky. Precious Metals junkyard, owned by Roger Branham 803-337-2888.
On US 21 just north of Blythewood, SC.
    Thanks.

Hahaha! Nice work, Steve. As if I don't feel like enough of a slacker watching you Canadians work, you gotta gang up on me!

    Thanks styleline!

Seriously, this is one of the many awesome things about Ryan's World. Now I have been shamed back into action! No more funk, I'm coming back! (But not tonight, I have a Buildings & Grounds Committee meeting at the church in 25 minutes.)

Yeah- trying to finish up dealing with this basement flood so that I can get back out to the garage on my '51.

On the positive side- no Hot Wheels, Model Cars, or Shooting supplies were damaged in the flood. Lost some good car magazines, though.

What a project for a dad and his son.I helped my dad restore his 53 210 Club Coupe 30 years ago.If you want to hop up a "6",use a 54 and up version. They have a full pressure oiling system. You can't beat the sound of an inline with pipes.Good Luck on this.

At least you have a good excuse, Rob. I'm having a hard time climbing out of the "life gets in the way" hole. Like Merle says . . . "It's a big job just gettin' by with nine kids and a wife . . ." OK, so I only have 4 (3 still at home).

Should get the taillights this next week. Slow boat from California.:D

    Thanks for the kind words.

Sorry, Andy. Some of us Southern boys can get real slack. But thanks for the encouragement.

Damn, sorry to hear about that. Another good excuse.:)

    Thanks.

Just keep piling on there, Steve! Been mowing the lawn every week for a month now.:) Seriously, thanks for the pestering, one of these days (soon) it will take.

You are correct, sir. We keep learning, absorbing, evolving. Had it to do over, that is what I'd do. Thanks.

I'm in S. Charlotte next to Pineville. PM me the Columbia yard, if you please. Thanks.

Thanks. Now, chopped '51, that is what we'd like. Just can't bite off any more on this project.

Looking good man. I would have seen all the rust and moved on. You and your son will be very proud when you finish. I was building mine in the garage and my son would walk by and not offer any help, on his way to hang out with his freinds. Now that it is on the road he asks every couple days "Dad, when do I get to cruise the Chevy?" I feel bad not letting him drive it. It ony lasts for second until I hear the rumble of the glass packs as I cruise past him and his freinds......lol
