Do you know about the NE GA Swap at Lanier Speedway? One is coming up Saturday 11/6. Good times and a lot of hambers
Welcome from Rockmart GA. Henrietta the '38 Ford pickup and Ozelle the '55 Ford send friendly horn honks to you and your '52 Chevy.
Thanks to all for the Warm WELCOME! I almost feel right at home. I have a 57, 283 engine sitting in the 52 Chevy with a 350 behind it, and a 69 camaro rear, used the CE mounting kit for the rearend, it worked pretty slick. My question is, the 283 is a front mount, I found a old Hurst mount, worked great, and made a bracket for the rear of the 350 trans to the original crossmember. Any one know how to support the bellhousing area, or do I need one, thanks for all your help. Joe in Ga.
Welcome from Lithia Springs..........................You probably won't need a bracket at the bellhousing if you've built a crossmember under the tailshaft housing! If you need more help, PM me, and I'll give you a number where you can reach me! I've got three 49 to 54s with V-8 conversions!
Thamks for the reply, I would like to talk to you about this swap, it is my first one, appreciate it. My email is [email protected], and my cell is 678-481-4544. Cheers, Joe Shepherd
