Welcome to the HAMB solidaxle. Couple things I like about you already, You have good taste in cars, judging by what you chose as inspiration for your build. and b. you aren't afraid to ask for advise. You'll do fine here.

I would probably do nothing more than read and browse for a month or so (at least)...one mistake that many people make is to get out the wallet before they know precisely what they need.

Welcome, plan ahead, keep notes, buy good stuff, focus (don't do what I did once, bolt the trans in and then discover you're sitting on the pilot bearing, for example)...and keep us posted on your progress.

I worked once it sucked. the HAMB is much more fun. So you wont to build a 32 I hope you are ready to spend money. thats a big buck project. Going to the Rolling bones shop is a good idea. see what is out thar before buying.

Welcome to the site. Like you, I was into muscle cars when I was young. Got the bug for a hot rod and haunted the swap meets. I found an unfinished project ('32 3 window) but it was titled and licensed. It took 3 years to complete but it was exactly what I wanted.

Ya came to the right place. Lots'a help around here.....

The D. Spenser roadster is one of my favorites too. So very artful. Everything done "right".
Took us four years to get ours on the road. Scrounging parts, looking at pics, bench racing and as the thing came to together I knew we were on the right track!

Told myself, Go for the car you really want. Don't settle for any less just because it may be easier...
