Yeah!! Ive been i the area for four years now....so kinda new...probly used to drive past your place on the way to work everyday...

This thing is cool lookin'.

One question; what kind of intake it that? I kinda thought Man-A-Fre's were all for four-bolt carbs, and I'd really like to run something very similar to yours (three bolt) on my car.

I appreciate any info and look forward to seeing this car come together.

Also began fitting the dash "ears".......

I've got just a few more "money" parts to round up to finish mock-up...stuff like pedals, steering column, rear spring/coilovers, seats, radiator and front wheels/tires.
Gonna get some more metal this weekend and build front floors/trans tunnel, as well and finish out trunk and patch the cowl....
May fill the cowl vent too.....unsure...

I've got a set of old, chromed Ansen pedals on the way....should be cool. And maybe some front wheels.

Question!!!! Ever think of going with chromed 16" early ford wheels up front? There is a huge difference in the look between 15's and 16's in terms of chrome steelies. I think the 16" wheels chromed on you car would look so rad. Look at those Weez paintings and tell me that those are 15" wheels...no way! They are far to big and beautiful to be 15's.

You should look into it man. Imagine Bass' with whitewalls....

 

BTW, the rims on the front of Aaron's car are 16" Ford centers on 15" VW rims, (which are not as deep vertically so the big centers fit,) So the centers have that large curve to them.

 

Weez I got you boo and I'm hip to your game. I for one am not just hanging your work up to look pretty. I've been hitting the books and studying those cars hard for when the time comes to build my '32. In the mean time, I think Sinister Custom is definitely on the right track!!!

 

Yes Jeffrey....that actually is the "plan".....just haven't been able to locate any chromed '40 Ford wheels. May have to actually buy NEW one's.....haha....
Otherwise it will be fog painted wheels.
Either way, they will be 16", as the tires I wanna run are 16".

Hamber Verbal Kint hooked me up with another S-W Twin Blue oil pressure gauge, but a full sweep one, for the firewall....need to find a full sweep vac to match...

Those gauges look good! Never seen them on a firewall though!
