    i'm getting a 49 4 door shoebox early next year. does anyone know the diffrence in the wheel base of a 2 door sedan? and are the doors longer on the two door?

    It's Hilborn injected--has amazingly quick throttle response and gets respectable gas mileage as well. I'm having trouble tuning the butterfly valves on it and Hilborn hasn't been much help in this area either. I do think the Chrysler corporation of the 1950's would've approved of my choice over a carb...enter the Bendix Electrojector

    here's mine........Ford of coarse, owned both a shoebox and 55-57 chevs and never heard chevs called a shoebox until recently,,,,,,have always heard Ford called shoe box since back in the 50's.........but what do I know....it must be a generation thing

    The wheels & mirrors are a bit much for me , but those things aside , it sure is a nice-looking '50 to ME !

    My 57 cad that right now doesn't look very "hamb friendly" as some say here. But The paint is how it was when I got it and I'll take care of that after some other projects, I just finished getting this cad streetable and the seat cover I made just because the upholstery needs to be done and that like the paint has to wait.
