    It all depends on the look your going for. My cars looks cool with these wheels, but that not the look I want. They are just what I have to put on it it right now.

    Yes 59 Caddy Frenched 2 1/2". When I built the car I used a Bel-air trunk lid, (4 lights) the new owner put the Impala lid on (6 Lights)

    that 61 is in Custom Rodder mag in march 2001, a 3 page spread,i still have the mag, just a great car.:cool:

    1961 Belairs i restored in the early nineties.Hardtop has 348/350 HP 4 speed. Convt has 348/ 250 HP 4speed. Sold cars about 10 years ago to a man in the LA area.

    Hey squirrel, they are relatively rare. Out of nearly 1/2 million 61 full size Chevys of all models and body styles, about 12,000 were sport coupe Belairs, but no breakdown of engines. The 12K represents the hot rods all the way down to 6cyl bread n butter cars. No telling how many donor cars became Impalas over the years. I like the clean styling on the sides w/out the painted cove in the Impala trim. I plan to mix n match some details in mine. I might add Impala armrests and such, plan to plate my W/S inner trim and outer window channels, maybe a few other things crossed over. Belairs are like a blank sheet of paper to do what we see fit.
