For Texas I used Ed's Performance Engines and Machine in Abilene Texas.

I use to Super/Pro Gas race a, Big Block Chevy, 40 Willys coupe in the late 70s and Eddie did all my work then. So naturally, for my Hemi, I went back because of the the quality of work I always got.

I also use to teach Auto Tech so I'm working on passing the tourch to my grandson.
We are building a 56 (NE 56) 354 Chry. Hemi.

But of COURSE! After tangling with a broken 331 truck motor (now a doorstop until I can have it sleeved), I have an early 331 in my Model A (no hood though, sorry). Couple other early 331's laying around also, that don't have homes yet.

Thanks for adding Ed's, and have fun passing on your Hemi fun to the youngin'!

 

Bumpin' this up... PLEASE take a look at this and see if there are any Hemi friendly machine shops that are not on the list for your state.

Anyone have any suggestions for Northern California? Very surprised none have popped up.

I'm in columbus ohio, found another thread that listed some places but no phone numbers.

Now I find this that has phone numbers and I'd completely missed it.

Maybe someone else will notice it and get use out of it too.

He's been machining longer than I've been alive and has plenty of early hemi experience
took me half an hour on the interweb to get his number! Nice guy, wants $50 to mag and inspect my vortechs which sounds great, he gets the job.

 

Seriously - nobody in the mid-Atlantic? There's nobody in MD-VA-NC that can do decent work on Poly or Hemi engines? I find that hard to believe! Then again... maybe there's a niche that needs filling?!?!

There is a guy in Low Gap, NC that does hemi work, well thought of around here from what I've heard. No personal experience.
