Yeah, I know...I have mixed feelings about teasing you guys. "home is where your heart is", I think is the old saying. You guys are a tough bunch. I'd break in half trying to shovel that stuff. You guys have seasons and here they kind of just blend together. A guy like me at 60 years old and never lived anywhere else but here just couldn't handle it. When it drizzles with rain here, the lead story on the 6:00 news is "Storm Watch" !!!!! Pretty embarrassing.....
Good eye. It is a 71 142. Runs a 3.8 buick and a t5. It now belongs to a friend in St. Louis. Gonna get put back on the scca track where it came from many years ago. Fun little monster that it is....
Some of these pics need to be blown up into posters or something. I think we'll be getting more here this weekend.
Do these pictures qualify? This next one tempts me to start a thread titled "Need help with car identification." Notice there is a car on the back of the Dodge truck in this picture. Can you tell what kind it is? Here's a hint. You'll find it in my albums. That reminds me I better go out and start the snowmobile. MUSH!
We finally got our first decent snowfall here in Santa Fe. Probably looks like a 'dusting' to some of you...
Well I gues this is what I get, this is California snow. some crazy weather here. In the last 4 days we got over 4 inches of rain, we usualy get a little more than that anualy, shattering every record. here is a fellow Hamber with his car in front of his house, pretty crazy. Unfortuanatly he was having a little too much funand got water in the dizzy and had to push it home, but no real damage.
It was good when I drove through it the first time, but when I came back to the house from the main road I didn't realize the brakes were so wet and hit the water at about 20mph. Eh it was a good workout and I got to meet a neighbor from the next street over since he helped me push it home. Runs now everything is dry .-Weeks
