Hi everybody I bought this nice 41 COE,and i need to bring it down from Waterford CA 95386 to Gardena California.Where i stuck is on the renting of a trailer for cars 7000 pounds in Los Angeles. Is there anybody of you guys how can give me a rental company or a good advice. Thank you in advance Steve
Trucks shouldn't be anywhere near 7000 lbs. I have a '40 cab/chassis on the same 134" wheelbase, and Ford said that weighed around 3800. A 5000 lb car trailer should be fine.
fit looks like from the picture /maybe it is too tongue heavy ?and the truck length wont allow it to be moved to the rear ? MAYBE ? good luck ! mike

I can haul your COE down to Gardena,CA in a few days (see pic below), send me a message if your interested. I can winch it on/off my trailer as long as it rolls. Alot of rental yards in CA require you to have a 3/4 ton pickup to rent/pull a car trailer and make sure you use chains & binders to secure your truck to the trailer properly. Good luck either way & very cool COE!!
I live next to Waterford in Modesto, and I have a flat bed trailer that would haul that. I am also a construction worker and a lot of time on hands. I have all the tie downs, comp for tires, let me know . I also have a liking for forytish GM trucks.

Thanks for the kind words. Its actually a 1979 Kenworth, I like my iron old! If I haul for Steve, I'll post a pic of his nice COE on my wagon! Hopefully someone can get him a good deal, big trucks are expensive to run down the road!
