Projects What kind of car is this?

    A friend of mine bought this body but he doesnt know what kind of car it is. It seems someone has modified it, there is some welding done. Grateful for any respons!

    That small indent in the middle on top of the firewall as well as the engine recess looks like chevy, but not sure.

  9. You can really see the similar lines in this shot. This one is a 31 Chevy roadster.

  10. 32 Buick also looks really close, but the A pillar doesn't seem to match, maybe aftermarket stanchions

  14. Yep, I agree 33 Chev Roadster, Stanchions are correct. I tried, I was close.

    It is a 1933 Chevrolet Cabriolet. Extremely rare with a production of 3029. Top of windshield frame is missing. I had one years ago.
     
  16. I would say it's a 33 Chevy or some other GM Cabriolet. Here is a picture of mine. The windshield and doors are cabriolet not roadster. The rear hood line is straight across the top making it no later than 33 (34 and 35's had an angle pointing to the front looking down).
