To all my friends here at the H.A.M.B...

Larry & I got together at the KKOA Salina 30th Anniversary in July to talk about his career and some of his cool rides.

VOODOO LARRY'S landmark "Voodoo Idol" is a multiple-award winner, a magazine & book Feature Car, and is one of the wildest rides put together in this Millenium !

This was originally a '46 Ford Deluxe Coupe, but the "how-and-why" of its beginning is what I wanted to find out, and Larry didn't disappoint me.

He's a craftsman of the highest level, and it shows in ALL of his work. But the Voodoo Idol is somethin' special...and so is the reason it was called "Idol". To find out all of the facts & figures, just listen as Larry tells me the whole story by just clicking-on this link !

    Enjoy !

That car is horrible. I thought for sure when I opened this thread everyone would be singing the praises of that car and telling me I'm an idiot for thinking it sucks. It's good to see theres still some guys out there with good taste.

Truely an awesome build, but to me the proportions just don't look right. I don't think that color helps the cause either. But I can't take away from the man's skill...amazing. I really dig the hood latch design.

  16. I also say this on ebay and the starting auction price was going nowhere quick. Hombres is right the girls front is better, you can always turn the lights out and imagine Megan Fox.

My wife and I watched him working his ass off in Salina Kansas comes across as the real deal hard worker. Everyone has opinion some may not like the car but I do.

I think,he did a nice job building it, but the car is ugly, but so are the headers on his coupe.

The fella knows no restraint, he's the modern day Frank DeRosa, but you guys have no restraint in your harshness either, you're like Triumph the Insult Comedy Dog.

PS, I hate flamethrowers and modern headlights.

To all the haters on here, just because you can post your opinion on every single subject doesnt mean you have to. Looking at all the Kustoms that have been built over the years some give me the warm and fuzzys some give me the shivers, the manners my Mother taught me say "if you have nothing nice to say dont say anything."

I can truely respect the quality of his craftsmanship !!!!! But just because you can do something doesn't mean you should !!! The car is totally not in proportion !!!!

The best thing I can say about it is "it's well built."
I'll reserve my comments about the overall visual appeal.
I do like the hood latch mechanism, thou.
