Hey Y'all, First time I have posted on this site. I have been reading here for a few months, I have a build thread on 67-72 Chevy trucks site for a 1949 Chevy 3100. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/showthread.php?t=413926 A friend told me if I could get this off his property I could have it. Not sure what I am going to do with it till I win the lottery, Guess just dream about what I am going to do for now. I know its an early 30s Plymouth sedan but that's all I know about it. Thanks for you help Joe
It says Right there on the Tag, Which is used on most Early MoPaR's, Its a PLYMOUYTH. I would say without researching it was built between '28~'31. Get it & sell or trade it to someone who Like's MoPaR's. Don't ruin it by cutting it up for the Raer Window.
No Midwest it about 3.5 hours north of you in central Mo. I have a lot of Kin Folk in Mt. View and have floated a lot of rivers in you area
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/showthread.php?t=413926 This I what I would like to do with it at some point. One of the stipulations is I could not sell it,He could do that He will give it to me, I am going to try to move it to the farm were I got my 49 from. Any Idea if a 52 chevy truck frame would be close enough to work under it? Width wise anyway.
You Been here a bit over a Year & your already On the HAMB Police Force ? Does it make him Less of a Car Guy if he has no Intro ?
Pretty cool, Pontiac also had a rear window similar to that. Also check these pictures out. http://www.dogpile.com/dogpile/ws/r...e/iq=true/zoom=off/_iceUrlFlag=7?_IceUrl=true
I teach Auto Tech I was about to send those two to the class room to write chapters.(I miss taking them out back and giving them a butt whooping) Its all good I appreciate all the comments and can dish it out, I love messing with old cars and wish I had the money to build some cool hot rods. That's why I love site like this were people share ideas and help each other keep the cost down.
it's gonna go somewhere real soon if you give out any more complete descriptions as to where it is. i just might go on to a satellite web site and see if i can see it from the air and THEN it will be going somewhere..to my garage in southern calif...lol. that has possibilities written all over it's bullet-ridden carcass. and that back window is kinda cool. good luck with that project. later dudes chuck
between the hamb and you teachin auto tech, i recon it shouldnt be to hard to wack up a nice frame, pull a junkyard engine outer an old car and build yourself a bitchin hot rod. now go get that thing.
Kiwi I am in the middle of a 49 chevy truck at school, someday I will I really want to but funds are tight. Someday I would love to come visit New zealand It looks like a really cool place. As my grandma used to say if the Good Lords willing and the creek don't rise it'll happen.
Chuck, you worry me a little. I most likely move it to a friends farm for the time being if I can get him and his back hoe to help me it,it's purty far in the woods (good luck with satellite). My buddy tell's me the bullet holes are from one of Bonnie and Clyde big escapes. Joe from Mo hopin to get a back Hoe.
