  1. Did the search and surprisingly didn't find a 28 29 closed cab pick up photo thread. Getting ready to put one together and do a chop. Let's see what you guys got, I need some inspiration!!

    I Just bought an early 28 cab and box but no pics yet.. I think the tall stock height of truck is what makes it cool, but hey, what do I know.......

    here is mine. 28 model . i was told by thr last ower it was in the movie " the coalminers daughtor" dont knoie if it was true and i didnt help me buy it . i had to have it for its patins. i built a new chassis and drove it to the 2006 la roadster show via southern texas. loved that truck. i miss it.

    Thanks, but it was already chopped when I bought it. I'm not sure what the stock dimensions are, but it measures 17-1/2" to the beltline at the rear corner and 16" at the front. Can anyone tell me the original height? I don't have one around here I can measure.
     
  14. That's a four-inch chop. Mine's a stock '29 AA, but I like 'em either way.

    Anyone got a line on an express bed, ala The Waltons' truck? Who out there is building AAs?

    Drove this one for the first time about a month ago after "working on it" for 14 years. It's a hoot!!
