Here's one from one of our vintage-photo threads. I LOVE it, but they'd skin you alive nowadays if you did this! Bet the kid had a ball ... and a great memory!
Here in Australia I'm probably never going to find a car with much snow on it to find out. Does a heavy snow fall cause panel damage? Some of the photos look like 10 feet of snow, does that cave in a roof?
I've never seen it cave in a roof, and it's probably because there is enough arch in most roofs. I have, however, seen people shovling off the roof of their houses.
Wow , some crazy pics. I am so glad I live in SoCal it hasent snowed hear where I live in about 10 years now.
It can/will cave in the roof of a house or other building, but will not cave the roof of a car oddly enough.
Not true, my Dad just bought three 53 Vickys...all of them, and the other 100 cars there, had caved in roofs from about 15 feet of snow. No glass broke because of it however.

dont mind the date stamp these were takin yesterday i was going to get up and throw a car cover over it yesterday morning too
That looks like it might be fun to ride but I'd have a death grip on the handlebars. One wrong jump over a snow mound and the "boys" are goin' bye bye!
See this same thread every year,....and alot of the same pictures recycled. Always check it out coz it seems like a cool idea, old cars in snow. Everytime I look at it I am always thankful I live in the Valley. I can be in the snow (or on the beach) in about an hour and a half either way.
