This is all great inspiration, just seeing some of the designs with the metal work.
    Thanks for sharing it!

When I did the floors and tunnel in TudorJeff's A, I had to make a tower for it too. Jeffybump kinda evolved from that.

I should add that I hate these kinds of shifters. Bulky complicated and other than a bit of fore and aft adjustment it has to go where it goes. I much prefer a cable shifter, simple and effective, reliable and I can mount it anywhere. One small hole in the floor for the cable.

Fun? what you some kinda perv? You mean this can be enjoyable? Shhhhhhh don't tell the wife, as far as she knows my job sux and I'd like to keep it that way!

Thanks again for the props, I do my best with what I got and sometimes it even turns out right.

I'm getting a big box from Mcmaster later today that contains a thousand stainless screws, bolts and acorns so the real assembly can begin.

I've got a lot of stuff put together but with the wrong fasteners so I havent gotten any real good detail pics yet, but keep watching! things should start going pretty fast in the next week or so.

Other than some hoses and reinstalling tha cap and wires motor is ready to fire.

Steering cant go in to stay until the firewall cover is in place.
firewall trim rings are painted and waiting for the cover to come back.

Should be back on the ground this afternoon. (I used the sawzall to cut the roots loose from the jackstands.) Nose is mounted and the hood still fits but I didnt grab any pics of that part yet.

You are going to a lot of work to salvage something way beyond repair, but to each their own. As P. T Barnum said one a minute! ~sololobo~

Polished a bit more on the light housing, and got it drilled for the screws.

Put some acorns on the intake studs, cleaned it up a bunch.
Headlights are on to stay, need a bit of fine tuning though.

Polished acorns and polished bolts abound. That job sucks but is well worth it in the end!

amazing work! wish it was a more toned down color but definitely a 200% improvement. My uncle has a 31model a he build in the late 80's typical streetrod rubbish, bilit crap, crager wheels, mustang2 suspension, tweed interior.. Only thing its got going is that its got a 383/4speed, and it plain red, he didnt get into the dumb pastel and neon colors people were putting on their cars... Everytime I see him I beg him to sell it to me and let me fix it for him.
